The point is to read a statement and not just to make a verdict: agree or disagree but also make some arguments and explain why you have this opinion. The statements include thought-provoking topics and stimulate critical thinking.

For group students we recommend splitting a group into two teams, give them one controversial statement and make one team say arguments “for” and another - “against” the statement.
